Members of the Iga Ninja group ASHURA perform at the Foreign Correspondent's Club of Japan (FCCJ) on February 22, 2017, Tokyo, Japan. The ninja group from Mie Prefecture gave an authentic demonstration of their ninja skills as part of the Ninja Nippon Project which aims to revitalize Mie's economy by attracting local and international tourism through the ninja culture. The project is supported by the Japan National Tourist Organization and includes plans to open a Ninja Academy and a Ninja Museum in 2018 in the lead-up to the 2019 Rugby World Cup and the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
