T-Arts Company has set up 325 capsule toy vending machines in a lobby of Narita International Airport Terminal 2 for with the aim of selling to foreigners with spare Japanese coins or looking for cool souvenirs from Japan. Gacha Gacha are a type of Japanese vending machines that dispense capsule toys. The airport machines offer some traditional Japanese toys ideal as souvenirs as well as popular character goods. Each machine contains a variety of toys on the same theme in individual capsules which cost between JPY 100 (approximately US$0.90) to 500 JPY (approximately US$ 4.50).
