  • A countdown marks 75 days to go for the Tokyo 2020 Games outside Tokyo Station. Tokyo reported 1,121 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, the highest number since January 22. On Friday, Japan's Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga extended a state of emergency in Tokyo, Osaka, Hyogo, and Kyoto, adding Aichi and Fukuoka prefectures, until the end of May. A few months before the Tokyo Olympics.
