Jane Fisher was a victim of rape by a U.S. military serviceman in 2002. She became a staunch advocate for victims of sexual violence in Japan and worldwide funding Warriors Japan and I Am Jane in 2002. In 2019 she spoke at the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva. On October 5th, Catherine met officials from the Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Defense to discuss U.S. military crimes and sent a letter to the Japanese Primer Minister Fumio Kishida.
